Issues w Sleepcover / battery life

Hey all,

I am using a Gecko cover for me Kobo Glo and until recently, I used the SleepCover function. However, from time to time I noticed that all of a sudden the battery has completely drained. In settings, I deactived "auto off" and "auto standby" in order to only use the Sleepcover function (which definitely worked).

To get rid of the battery drain, I activated "auto off" function and set it to 60 minutes. But every time I set the Kobo to sleep (i.e. by closing the cover) and I open it again the next day, the whole system has shut down. Nothing like that happens in a shorter period of time (i.e. sleep working properly).

So the issue is twofold:
a) sudden battery drain with sleepcover when "auto off" disabled
b) kobo turns off when it should be in standy over a longer period of time with sleepcover and "auto off" enabled

Any ideas / hints?

FW 2.8.1.

Hope the description is kinda useful..
