Geez, what a gong show at Kobo..

I ordered on the 10th and got a order confirmation email and my CC was charged the full amount..
On the 12th I chatted with customer service and I asked if it had shipped:

Nelson G: I found your order that will begin to ship out on September 16th and you will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours.
Mike: ok, thank you..
On the 17th, still nothing so I sent an email to customer support:

Hi,
Has this been shipped yet? I still have not received a shipping confirmation. If this has NOT been shipped, I would like to cancel my order and have my CC credited back please... --
and got the standard reply:

Thank you for contacting Kobo Customer Care. Your question has been received and you can anticipate a response within 24-48 hours.
On the 18th I get this response:

So I drive to FutureShop and see they have them on the shelf.. I try to buy one, but they say they can't sell it till the 19th.... ARGHHHH

This morning I reserve my Aura at FutureShop.. now guess have shows up in my email:
