It's kinda funny (to me, at least), I don't think "New Adult" when I see that abbreviation. Being a historical romance reader, NA always means "Native American" and I have to pause, think, and re-read the description because I'm confused reading about modern dramas when I'm expecting Cherokees and damsels in distress.

I have no idea who came up with new adult. You would think new adult would first then young adult second. I agree it's confusing.
