Looking for a good suspense novel recommendation

I typically only read non-fiction, but recently have gotten an urge to switch it up and read something fiction, preferably suspenseful. I've been out of the fiction game for a really long time now (like 10+ years), so there should be a lot of options out there.

I did give a few novels a try that people had recommended to me, but nothing really grabbed me to the point that I even wanted to finish it. I tried Vince Flynn (Term Limits) - thought the writing (particularly the dialog) was very amateurish. Then I tried David Baldacci (The Innocent), and while the writing was much better than that of Flynn, it just didn't grab me. Now I'm giving James Hankins (Brothers & Bones) a try, but it's kind of the same thing - just not drawing me in. I want a real page-turner that I won't want to put down. I thought about maybe trying the Stieg Larsson trilogy, but I did already see the movie of the first one and don't think I would enjoy the book as much because of that.
