One thing to keep in mind is that the Cybook is currently not available in retail stores yet. It is only available from WH Smiths Online store.

It should show up in the high street, but I figure its going to take some time before they can get in enough units to keep up with demand on the website let alone get in enough units to send to stores.

If you've got time, you could post on the See a device thread, to arrange to see the Cybook with a member, and then order the Cybook from the site. But that will require you to have a couple of weeks to spend in country.

On the other hand if you're sure about which you want, it could be worth it to order it to have it sent to a family member / friends place. In WH Smiths case they do offer you a full refund if you return the product within 30 days. Their Policy is mentioned here.
