It's a really good book as long as you don't mind YA protagonists. I didn't really notice an overabundance of Spanish, but then again, I speak a bit of it, so maybe that's why it didn't make any kind of impression on me. Anyway, whenever there are foreign terms in a book, I just treat them as "local color", and either get the meaning as best as I can from context, or ignore it and move on. I really should start trying to look those phrases up more.
