One of the word used alot is mamacita. I have read up on the different of use here in the US and other Spanish speaking countries. I think the author was trying use the term like we do Babe. Kristian Ashley uses Mamita instead for the word Babe in her Rock Chick book 7.
I read on Google that a guy calling a girl mamacita can get him slapped. it consider insult. It's sooo confusing!
