I am creating new covers for some e-books using the Generate Cover plug-in. It works great but I'm having a problem with the Nook Simple Touch. I would like the new covers to show up on the Library shelves of the Nook. And they do, usually.
But sometimes when I save the new book using exactly the same title as the old book, the Nook displays the old cover image on the shelf. The new cover shows up just fine when you open the book, but somehow the device is remembering the old cover image and using it on that Library display.
This happens after I edit the metadata, convert the e-book in caliber, and even delete the old book from the Nook. Now, if I save the new book with a title even slightly different than the original, the new book saves and displays just fine. But if I then go back into the Nook's files and re-name that book to the old title, shazam, there's that old, nasty cover image back again on the Nook Library shelf. And I very much would like to use the same title to keep my files straight.
Are there any Nook savants out there that can help me learn how to delete these old cover images?
Many thanks in advance!
