500 GB of eBooks? You could probably carry the whole of the Library of Congress with you and still have plenty of free space available.

I wouldn't want any moveable parts on my eReader. It may be thin as a piece of paper, and it may have shock sensors, but it is still mechanical and prone to failure if you accidently drop the device while accessing the disk.
