I think you will find that it is impossible to get good results converting complex ebooks from azw3 or ePub formats to mobi.
Mobi was loosely based on HTML 3.2, which is now about ten years old, and is very much less flexible and less powerful than the XHTML in ePub ebooks or the HTML5 and CCS3 in az3 ebooks.
To use rather crude analogies one wouldn't expect to get a good picture if one viewed a video film produced today on one of the first TVs sets developed, or get a good ride if one put the first petrol produced into a modern day car.
