Unrelated. The stock market has always loved Apple for being a "buy on anticipation of new product, sell after keynote/launch" stock. Apples stock always rise before and drop after a keynote. But for some reason this is always "news" in the media.

Unlikely. Plastic is a very bad heat conductor and the holes are too deep for proper convection anyway.
