Does this mean that firmware has possibly a hidden "engineering menu" to recalibrate the white balance and/or touch screen?

My old bq Avant has an QEngineer hidden menu which can be accessed by pressing a combination of keys when starting up the device. Some settings can be changed: sound, touch screen calibration, page refreshes and more.
