I LOVE your categories!

Even though I had the virtual space, I tried to treat my digital books the same way I did the print ones when I moved and I had to get rid of two-thirds of them. Even then I did keep about 100 or so books I'd read that I probably will never reread with the justification of "but they're already in Calibre, tagged, etc..."
As hard as it is to get rid of books (digital or print) it's also very liberating.

That's very true, liberating is a perfect word for it!
Another thing I've started doing which I seldom [never?] did before, was DNF a book. Previously, if I had paid for a book, I darn well read it even if I hated it. [just the way I was brought up I think, nothing was ever wasted].
But now, I have so many books that I'm looking forward to reading, that if I'm just not feeling
some kind of connection to a book after 30-50 pages, I just mark it and move on. So far this year, of the 177 I've marked read, 21 of them were DNF's.
