OmniLit's buy-ten-get-one-free scheme

OmniLit has a reward scheme where if you buy ten eligible ebooks you get a coupon code for a free ebook.

What is interesting about the scheme is that it doesn't appear to limit the value of the free ebook to the same or lesser value of the ten purchased ebooks. It looks like I can buy ten $1 ebooks and then get a $10 ebook for free, which would be equivalent to a 50% discount overall. (The value of the free book is limited to $25.)

Not all books are eligible for the scheme, but books by some major publishers such as HarperCollins, Hachette, etc. are, so there is plenty to choose from.

I haven't bought ten eligible books yet, so I haven't tried out the free ebook coupon myself. Has anyone else tried it, and can you confirm that it works the way I think it does?
