Peter, I may have to crawl through the internet and kiss you, just warning you.

How would I do it? Restore factory settings (necessary for a downgrade), update to new firmware - signing in to account and getting validated - then taking all those new files and pasting over them from the .zip file of my firmware of choice (maybe 2.4.x)? IS IT THAT EASY??

If not, how do I get around having to sign into Kobo?
