If you can post (or send me a private message if you don't want to post) the PDF source file, I'll try to see why k2pdfopt is giving you a BSD. Did that happen with 2.01? What system are you running on, and how much RAM do you have? Which specific versions resulted in a BSD? Also, how large is the PDF file (page count ant bytes)?
