I only read epubs, not kepubs, and they render at least as well as they ever did on my Sonys. I probably wouldn't be quite so happy if my priorities were PDF, thousands of books on the reader and a permanent Wi-fi connection.
That was a big plus for the Kobo Touch. We only had to create a font directory and load them into it. Though not all fonts worked correctly, but most of the ones I tried did.
