Just because folders are available doesn't mean that they need to be used. As you say some people have all their files on their desktop. Those sort can leave all their books on their home page. Or just stick to paper books and bookcases. Hard to believe though that anyone who could use a cell phone or read their email or even use a microwave would have much trouble with basic folder usage that has been around for a couple decades at least.
