Yours and xendula's reviews are about the only two I would trust since we all went through so many faulty units. I remember bringing up the faulty screen and getting murdered by insults from MR posters for a while until you two, and a few others, began to back me up with the same reports. I was astonished to see one reviewer of the PW2 state that Amazon told him they had fixed the faulty screens, or words to that effect. If that is true, then Amazon has finally admitted they shanked the PW1 screen design.
