I got interested in these devices some time ago while doing some proofreading at
Distributed Proofreaders, which prepares out-of-copyright books to be made available on-line in
Project Gutenberg. That made me aware of the riches available in PG, but there wasn't any convenient way to read them.
But, just as with buses, you wait for ages and then three come along at once; so now I'm here looking for information to help me choose between Sony Reader, Cybook and Hanlin v3, and no doubt for advice and support after I choose one. I'm less interested in paid-for E-books (at least until prices come down substantially) than in the free stuff.
