Well, I've got over 850 currently in my kindle. Most were rebuys of favorites I had in boxes and shelves. I still have about 10 boxes full of favorite keepers I'd like to replace as I can afford. Since only about 1 in 10 of read books turn out to be keepers I go through a lot of books. Generally about 1/day. No one implies to someone with a personal library room that they buy too many books. And if you have the books you need to keep them organized so that you can find them again if you want to re-read them and I re-read my favorites a lot. Any book not good enough to want to re-read was wasted money for me.

In any case with the cloud not able to be organized and not trusted to maintain all my purchases anyway, and the kindle itself not able to hold all my books I'm not impressed by it's features.
