Interesting to note that Hugh gave his blessing to "commercial" Silo/Wool fan-fiction projects before Kindle Worlds actually launched. Interesting, but maybe not exactly relevant to the thread.

I just find it fascinating how much money this guy has been able to make--and how much attention he's been able to garner--by
loosening the reigns on his IP (Fan Fiction, No DRM, PayPal to receive donations from those who "find" his books outside of the normal retail scenario, etc).
Anyway... Sure, these content creators aren't going to have the time vet each and every paragraph of the content submitted ... but neither is it exactly going to take an army of assistants to quickly/easily veto a lot of flat-out garbage.
