I can read a 300 to 400 page book in about 3 hours; 4 if I'm dawdling. Sometimes less than 3 if it's a really good one and I just can't stop turning pages. So even though I have nearly 1800 books (many of them read) on my ereader, there's no way it will take me the rest of my life to get through those. It's why I constantly add to the tally--I live in fear of running out of reading material.

I never know what I'll feel like reading next, so having my entire collection available for me to "DJ" on the fly is amazing and wonderful and it's something I've wanted all my life.

I would rather have more books with me than I can read, as opposed to the alternative.
