I can't speak for the Kobo as I don't own one. But you can use the Goodreads App on Facebook to do that and more. As Amazon bought Goodreads recently tho I don't know if that will be the case in the future. They may well restrict Goodreads to Kindle owners and suck it into their closed ecosystem
