Hi everyone,
Thanks for allowing me to be a member of this group. I am a newly retired RN who was introduced to e-books by a hard copy book group of nurses. We must not be too old because 7 of the 10 members have e-readers.

I have also recently joined an online group called Uniqueebooks and have enlarged my library greatly through this swap group.

Another member of that group was writing about calibre and how very powerful it is. They suggested this site as a great reference to learn more about the hobby of e-reading.

I live on the eastern shore of Maryland and have enjoyed "the good life" here for the past 30 years.Prior to that I lived at the Jersey Shore most of my life I have 5 grandchildren and enjoy visiting with them in various parts of the country.

I have a computer (obviously) and also belong to a computer-users group. Some of my friend think I must know a lot about computers only because I spend a good deal of time on line - about 2 hours a day now that I am retired.

I look forward to reading the threads within this group and learning a great deal also. As my mother used to day "You're never too old to learn".
