"To each, his own", the addition of Koreader to my high definition ereader has other benefits that, from my point of view, are much more important than an improved PDF or DJVU rendering. In fact, I have a 10.1" tablet, if I need to have portable viewing of such documents. (The PDF document format makes for lousy ebooks, IMHO.)
For me, the addition of the ability to read ebooks contained in PDB files, is of much greater value. The fact that Koreader uses a simple File Manager and can be set to read hidden files (so my large file structure can avoid Nickel's processing) are the critical factors, again "in my humble opinion". The ability to browse through an organized listing of books and find what I feel like reading, is of value to me.
Luck;
Ken
