Black coffee in my cup. My sister and are taking four of the Chinese students hiking at a local state park today. Make that five. No, make that six. Plus the American couple that picked up some of them from the airport and helped set up apartments. :-) We are learning first hand how strong the sense of family and community is in these students. All week we've gotten messages like, "Would it be convenient if a very nice boy who is the roommate to ____ joins us?" And then, "Will R. and B. be joining us? Hopefully they can make it!"
Lol. We're going to be quite the party. I'm most excited about the pleasure that I know at least one of the girls will get from the unspoiled wilderness area. Even downtown she keeps posting pictures with the caption, "Where are all the people?"
