WHY would they make 10 books one long-arse word doc with no page or sections breaks???!!???

To make matters worse, once I spent the time putting in the breaks, epub split decides to go buggy on me. So I had to do it manually...It really wasn't so bad once I figured it out, but I DO NOT want to go through that again. I will think seriously hard next time one these big 'ole anthologies comes out. In fact, there's new one

). I'm tempted but kinda gun shy now.
