Need to reboot Paperwhite?

If you have used a Windoze computer for any length of time, you know you need to reboot once in a while because of the memory leaks and other problems. Otherwise, all kinds of strange, unpredictable things can happen.

I almost never reboot my Kindles, to the point where I was surprised when people said they were having trouble with their Paperwhite losing time. I had never noticed it happening, because I never reboot.

Is it helpful to reboot a Kindle the same way you need to reboot a Windoze computer? Sometimes I feel that it's running slower than others, and lately I've had two books that were indexing for what seemed to be a long time. (of course, I just checked to see which two and there is only ONE now.)
