I didn't have any issues with it, but I entered it as a promo code on the Redeem Promotion page you might try there if you haven't already. Just a thought. I don't have a membership with credits so that may also make a difference.

It looped me through that welcome page twice (once to make me log in, then a second as I redeemed it) and I now have $15 in my account as well.
I amended my post to indicate that the Amazon Local app may need to be installed to redeem it.
