Calibre can't access files in Kindle memory

Hallo

I've gone through the previous posts about this problem but haven't been able to find a solution. I've been downloading books to my Kindle for months, and suddenly this morning it just gives the message below. I didn't do anything to either the Kindle or upgrade the Calibre. My computer displays the Kindle documents, there's just one device attached to the computer, I plugged in the USB at the back, restarted, rebooted, nothing helps. I'm completely lost where computers are concerned and would appreciate it if someone could take me by the hand and help me.

Thanks
Susan
