I'm not in the market, but yeah, color choice did not thrill me either. I like white e-reader devices, they don't tend to show fingerprints as much and make the bezel seem more like book page margins.

Plus, hubby usually goes for black, so I can get my white and it's easy to see whose device is whose.

Further, seems it cuts sales options, most guys aren't going to go for pink and only some women will. Seems like it would be better to offer more gender neutral choices. But what do I know, maybe they've had tons of requests for pink.
