I thought it might be a plug-in issue based on something Kovid said. But I am thinking now having the library sync in Copy may be the issue. That's the only thing I have done different lately and I have been using Calibre since 2008. I had paused the sync, deselected the folders from syncing then deleted the shortcuts. But was still getting the error.

Fingers crossed for me that simply reinstalling and not making the shortcut for the sync folder works. Calibre did seem to be working the other day when I first reinstalled it, so we'll see...<pleaseworkpleaseworkpleasework>
That is a python error not related to Calibre or your library so relax on that part.

It's curious why it's popping up in Calibre though. Do you have Python installed or something like it? I wonder if Copy uses Python?

It does seem like a plugin could be the issue if not Copy or another software you are using.

When does it pop up what are you exactly doing when it happens?

If you want to move this to PM that is fine.
