I have to ask how old is your hard drive? What O/S are you using?

You can sort by plugins you installed just click the box that says show only user installed plugins.
It's an unresolved Propsys error (I posted about in the Calibre forum).

I thought it might be a plug-in issue based on something Kovid said. But I am thinking now having the library sync in Copy may be the issue. That's the only thing I have done different lately and I have been using Calibre since 2008. I had paused the sync, deselected the folders from syncing then deleted the shortcuts. But was still getting the error.

I uninstalled Calibre and deleted the library and configuration folders. I then resinstalled and copied the folders over from my most recent backup. I am going to see if the error recreates and hold off doing any major library changes for a day or so. I am screwed if my database files themselves are messed up though.

I have been making double backups to USB, but that's overriding the existing files. The last backup I know is absolutely a clean version I have is from December. And I have added a gazillion books since then. Unless I can somehow get the original version I uploaded to Copy, but I do not think they keep multiple versions. My current USB version is from 8-17, but I can't remember if that is before or after I started getting the error.

This will teach me. I am going to go back to backing up my Calibre library on DVD-Rom once a month like I used to before I started using USBs more.

Fingers crossed for me that simply reinstalling and not making the shortcut for the sync folder works. Calibre did seem to be working the other day when I first reinstalled it, so we'll see...<pleaseworkpleaseworkpleasework>
