If tablet market shares mean anything, smaller sizes are more popular than larger sizes. The <8" tablets have been selling better (but they are cheaper, too, so people are more prone to impulse-buying them) and the
forecasts predict that this trend will continue.
I prefer 6" readers even for in-house use. Anything bigger feels bulky to me if all I use it for is reading. But yes, people have different preferences and someone should probably make a bigger reader to cover that niche.
