This is really timely for me! I just picked up the 2 Black Ops bundles last night but hadn't gotten this one yet.

This is a really good book, too. And I say that having paid full agency pricing when it released.
She's an autobuy author for me. There were 4 or 5 authors I was willing to pay full agency pricing for and she's one of them.
Did you read her Bodyguards series? The series is really hit-or-miss for me, but Black Ops Inc is a spin-off from it and my absolute favorite couple of hers from the first book (
Show No Mercy) in the BOI series were introduced in the last of the Bodyguards books,
Into the Dark. You could read
Show No Mercy first, but I really think you will like it more if you read
Into the Dark beforehand.
Here's a list of the order of the related series. I have also listed it with the couples names and my ratings in the spoiler section (since I know some new-to-a-series folks may consider the couples a spoiler).
Bodyguards
1) To the Edge (May 2005)
2) To the Limit (Sept 2005)
3) To the Brink (Jan 2006)
4) Over the Line (June 2006)
5) Under the Wire (Dec 2006)
6) Into the Dark (June 2007)*
*
Black Ops Inc (series is a spin-off of Bodyguards, many characters introduced in Into the Dark)
1)
Show No Mercy (Oct 2008)
2)
Take No Prisoners (Nov 2008)
3) Whisper No Lies (Jan 2009)
4)
Feel the Heat (Sept 2009)
5)
Risk No Secrets (May 2010)
6)
“Leave No Trace” (Sept 2010)
7)
With No Remorse (July 2011)°
8)
“SEALed with a Kiss” in SEAL of My Dreams anthology (Nov 2011)
9)
Last Man Standing (Feb 2012)°
10)
“Dying to Score” in Love is Murder anthology (June 2012)
°
One-Eyed Jacks (series is a continuation of Black Ops, Inc, some characters introduced in With No Remorse/Last Man Standing)
1)
Killing Time (Feb 2013)
2)
The Way Home [Nov 2013] <not yet released>
3)

If you don't want to read all of the Bodyguards, I would just read
To the Brink (because it introduces the couple of the last book) and
Into the Dark.
Oh and both of the short stories (8 and 10) in the Black Ops Inc series are totally okay to skip. They are short stories, not even novella length.
