...and yes, you are eligible to buy these audiobooks.
You can spend that $5 on any Audible content, including Whispersync titles
- go to Whispersync for Voice in the Kindle store and select the ebook you want
- purchase the ebook or borrow it from the library
- once you "own" it, you're then eligible for the reduced priced Audible versions
- from the ebook page, click "professional narration" in the Whispersync box
- from the next page, click "Buy at Audible.com"
- that takes you to Audible to complete your purchase
