I belong to only one library, and they refuse to use Overdrive, instead, choosing some nobody-ever-heard-of-it system (actually they wrote it themselves... and it shows... no polish) with very few books and mostly geared to people doing Literature at University. Why that is, I cannot imagine. The only good thing, I guess, is that I can get books in epub format and into my Kobo or PRS-650, or I can use Bluefire on the iDevices. No other Adobe enabled app will work. 14 days is the longest borrowing period (its a month with dead tree books) and I have only found 3 books that I wanted to read. Done and dusted. I suppose I should check in again sometime to see if they have got anything else in there apart from their usual.
