Kobo Glo

I bought a Kobo Glo in March and it worked perfectly - until the power-button broke 3 weeks ago.
On Tuesday I got a new one. I put my SD card from the old Glo in and started reading.

My problem with the new one is: it takes ages to start it (at least 5-10 minutes). It freezes in the middle and only a hard factory reset works.
Yesterday I used the hard factory reset, formatted my SD card and added the books anew (because I wasn't sure if there was a problem with the library or SD card).
When the Glo is in its sleeping mode, I can wake it up in a few second.
Today I tried a restart and after it completely froze (again) I waited and after about 10 minutes it was "unfrozen".

Now I am wondering: is it the firmware version 2.8.1?
or is it the Glo itself?

I'm thinking about giving it back...
I'm annoyed with my new Glo and sad.

P.S: Sorry if there are grammar mistakes but English is not my mother language.
