Disappointed - but still going to try
Hi,
I've finally had to change my ereader after the charging system on the Sony PRS505 decided to go belly up. A visit to Waterstones yesterday got me the basic Kindle wifi. Quite impressed with it, the keyboard was a pain, but thought it's really only occasional use.
It's going back today. After less than 24 hours, I have white/black lines (depending on screen's display) appearing. Tried removing the book I first noticed it on, no luck. Powered on and off, no change. Reset the force refresh option - again nothing. Amazon's support page suggested a reboot - and still nothing.
I must say I am disappointed that this has failed me in such a short space of time - but going to try again. Other family members have kindles which have worked long term....
However, would it be worth trying to upgrade to the paperwhite?
