I'm the one with the problems with capacitive touch screens and why I won't ever get a Kindle Paperwhite. It's not just the cold weather where it's a problem, my skin just often won't trigger the capacitive touch. It's a lot of fun for me trying to push an elevator button that uses it...

So while this will work for normal people in cold weather, if my bare fingers often don't work, I doubt all the conductive threads I can fit into the fingertips will work.
