not that I'm terribly interested in the Wine port really, but those creative addresses to indicate invalid addresses got me thinking. There is only so much that you can do with 16 characters mostly consisting of numbers, but developers are amazingly creative...
00000000 -> ... :-)
12345678 -> a variation, but also somewhat boring.
DEADBEEF -> probably the most well-known.
CAFEBABE -> actually the "magic bytes" for a Java class, so probably "invented" by Sun.
1BADBABE -> I didn't know that one before... it's probably either Windows itself, or Wine.
BAADF00D -> Microsoft Flight Simulator (yep, I toyed around with that a lot)
Do you know any other "interesting"/funny patterns?
