I also have favourites I reread to cheer me up. (Don't know if I should confess some of them are historical romances.)

I read a lot of books quickly and can forget them just as quickly. My husband reads far fewer books but seems to rmember every detail.

I just reread Duainfey (Steve Miller, Sharon Lee) so I that I can better enjoy reading the sequel Longeye.
