I am struggling with Rock Chick Revolution as I think KA may have forgot how to write English or was intoxicated when she wrote this book. We all know her grammar isn't the best but this one is WOW full of simple mistakes like words in brackets and parenthesis that doesn't need to be and just some sentences that don't make much sense. The dialogue isn't flowing or the character's narration. It's hard for me to accept this is KA's writing! I'm only at Chapter 4 but it's been a long road to get there having to go back and reread every other paragraph. I have to finish it to know what happens to everyone. I've waited over a year for this book. It seems thrown together and not in a KA good way my only hope as I get farther in the book she gets her groove back and it starts sounding like KA again. |

Did you read the review at DA? Or not because of spoilers? All I'll say is that it did not fair well. It wasn't Jane that reviewed it - I forget now who it was - but I kept thinking while I was reading it was what Jane would be saying if she had done the review
