To the disabled overweight lady at the restaurant yesterday afternoon,

I'm sorry you don't like our baseball team, my dad and brother do, but please enjoy your pizza discount for a team that obviously puts more effort than you do. It is only because of them that you can stuff all that greasy food in your face for less money than everybody else.

I'm sorry that you would have rather enjoyed that delicious feast at home. Most people don't go out to spend $50+ at a sit-down restaurant unless it's a special occasion, they don't feel like cooking, or were already out and about and didn't have any food at home waiting for them.

I'm sorry that your kid is a brat. But your attitude proves it has something to do with you. And telling him that you were going to punish him in front of everyone did not help you in any way.

I'm sorry that the world revolves around you, and that you think the servers were being discriminative. But you did not need to point out everyone who was getting seating and say that they were taking YOUR seats.

I'm sorry that you did not consider that it was Sunday afternoon, the day that most people go out to eat with their family. We waited the same amount of time you did, but we did not run our mouth whining about it, we just agreed to make sure to call in advance next time.

I'm sorry that at 24 years-old, I consider myself more grownup than you. I know that having a disability is hard, but it doesn't mean we have to push and shove everybody in our faces because of it. And for goodness sake, set a good example for your kid because they learn their values at home, and if you don't teach them good ones, well, they just become an annoying person that no one wants to be around.

Stop being the person that everybody in retail and food go home and laugh about with their family and Facebook friends. Because honestly, that is what you are. Grow up and stop running your mouth like you own the world.

Thank you,

Jessica

P.S. The salmon was delicious.
