An original case with dangerous clips came with mine, so I've decided to retire that case and try to find something different to protect my DX-G.

Also, I'll need a new battery (as my charge doesn't appear to last more than a couple of days), and you too may need a new battery as well.

Thanks for letting me know about the case. I had thought about getting the "official" case, but now that I know it can cause issues, I'll be sure to avoid it.
