That bookstore is responsible for me now having an eReader. Between stocking almost all of the books of several series except the first two or three (and then being surprised I complain about it), the man who rules over the Dutch and English fiction section always giving me a hard time when I want to order a book (saying he doubt I will pick it up, I've always picked up the books I've ordered) and them not knowing which books they have (me asking if they had any Terry Pratchett books, them saying no and me finding a book case full of Pratchett and Tolkien around the corner from the fiction section) the quickly convinced me ereading is for me.

The are the only big bookstore in my city, there is a big second hand bookstore and they have a lot of English books but mostly the ones students sell after they have read them for a course. And recently they've merged into one big company.

When I studied in Amsterdam I went to the Waterstone's and American Book Centre a couple of times a week to browse and buy.
