All the previous books in the series were published concurrently in the U.S. and the U.K., as the author's U.K. publisher has a U.S. side. This time, book nine is out and they still haven't published book eight here. I've received absolutely no response when I've contacted them to ask if there are plans to publish the rest of the series on this side of the pond. Apparently they aren't interested in customers here.
