The slush pile is another word for Kindle freebies. Each day I go wading through all the self published stuff trying to find quality stories to share here. It's more junk than anything. I believe slush pile is a publisher's term for a pile of submitted manuscripts. So it works in both cases.  |
Can you PM me, too? I've recently been active on SB (earned enough for 2 $5 Amazon cards last week), but there's lots I don't know. People talk about getting "singles" and "triples" on the Facebook page but I have no idea what they're talking about.
Thanks for posting all the freebies, ladies. My book budget is nil these last months, because we bought a house in March. I don't know what I'd do without the slushpile to read! lol
