It is possible to use advanced features in regular expressions to make them handle variations. For instance:
Author - Title
Author - Seriesname Series index - Title
It is more difficult to detect whether it is a Name or a Title.
It is usually much easier to select and add groups of books that use the same naming pattern. And adapt the pattern for each case.
